Meet Madeline
Hi, I’m Madeline!
Since I was little, I have always had a love and admiration for gemstones. Often collecting them on camping trips and visits to the Toronto Science Centre. This passion and connection to nature has only grown stronger as I navigated my youth, and now, adulthood.
As a young adult, I began researching different religions and beliefs. Some that stood out to me were Buddhism, Wicca and Paganism, mainly because of their strong connection to nature. However, when I discovered crystals, I found them to be very expensive and not accessible to everyone.
After I graduated from Humber College with a diploma in Journalism, I decided to start a small online business surrounding the idea of affordable crystals for everyone. No matter their financial background, personal preferences or situation that they come from.
After operating my small online business for about a year, one day my partner noticed a space for lease in St. Jacobs Village. Not only was it close to where I live in Kitchener, but it also had potential to become the future of Divine Dream Crystals. At first I laughed. Thinking it wouldn't be possible. But then, my shop was open for business in that very space just one month later!
